Sorin Jayson used to be a superhero. A dad.

But two years ago, the ExHuman Academy and Research Center (EXARC) sent Sorin Jayson and his wife and daughter on a superhero mission that killed both girls. Then two days ago, EXARC laid Sorin off for alleged assault, claiming he’s too unstable to continue hero work.

Now, he’s just a guy with a suspicion that EXARC fired him to hide something. But how’s Sorin going to say no when a mysterious woman plops two superhero kids on Sorin’s doorstep and demands he protect them from the organization that ruined his life?

Sure, his old rival has reappeared out of the shadows, his daughter haunts his thoughts, and half his memory is missing, but as long as Sorin can keep the kids out of EXARC’s hands, that’s what matters.

The hard part is…they’re dang hard to keep safe.
